But the false cry of the wolf has landed up in breaking up of joint Indian families since 22 years as a proven destructive formula and still some amendment is anticipated.
Many divorcing brides use section 498A as a weapon to negotiate good amount of alimony from the divorcing groom as the section is one sided and providing a facility for the bride to falsely complain to the police about the fairy tale atrocities that their in laws commit thus making it mandatory for the Indian police to arrest all those involved in the story provided by bride under section 498 A. The Non-bailable, Non Compoundable and Cognizable offence attached with this section makes this section very inhuman.
I too just fail to understand what makes them take such steps that breaks the family. I too would ask those women whose conscience would permit them to take such drastic steps.

Most women would like to look cute and innocent and hold on to their conspiracy inside their tainted heart till they get married. IF NCW was so women biased...then they would not have created a law 498a which even arrests women, SIL, MIL and preganant sisters?

1)NOw lets assume....if 498a only arrested husbands, FIL and BIL(males)...then these guys would be complaining that only men are arrested therefore NCW is biased infact gender-biased!!

It is indeed tempting to use a woman's identity and fight with a woman, kinda catfight. But, I am in no mood to enjoy a catfight. I expect that you would have understood that I am a 'man'.
I agree that NCW is not gender biased because of the very fact that for NCW, men don't even exist in the society so the gender equality issue doesn't even arise for NCW. NCW means National Commission for Women, remember ? Therefore, NCW isn't trying to propose some gender unbiased laws for a better society. NCW proposes laws for only women and not for men. Its not that the NCW does not have any right to propose laws only for women, but I do expect you to agree that NCW people don't have a clean chit. In 2004, women's mentor Girija Vyas, the Chairperson of NCW, was caught in a multi-crore petrol pump scam and Congress had to cover-up the story to save their face. I do agree with you that a person with a criminal record is not in a position to decide what's right and wrong for the society. However, Girija Vyas of NCW is considered as exception for the fact that she has been busy proposing laws only for women. But, isn't that true that even if Girija Vyas leaves the chair, the new woman too will make laws for only women ? If such practice will perpetually continue then why not arrest Girija Vyas and allow a new woman to make laws only for women ? She should give a fair chance to a new woman to chair NCW and surrender herself to cops for her alleged involvement in petrol pump scam.
Ooops, I forgot to remember that I am not talking about any ordinary common woman of the society. I am talking about the woman who proposes laws only for women. If a common woman goes scot free after committing a crime, then there is absolutely no likelihood that Girija Vyas will ever be arrested and convicted since she is the head of NCW, who is into proposing laws only for women.
I would like to heartly thank NCW for increasing the gap between crime and sin. Women won't be punished for their crime because of NCW's backing but they will be punished for their sins in the court of God. I suggest you try to get over God and take-over God's powers so that women can even rule the Heaven. I guess you will never be able to achieve that much.

1) My blogs and my group mates recognise 4 combination of marriages.

Combination 1 and 2 are self care takers. Combination 3 has laws that rightly safeguards sitas (we support too) but Combination 4 is where the problem of identity crises starts. Where Ram like guy and his family has to face the music of case 3 statistics.
2) My Blog has lady visitors too. The sitas like Rachna, Uma, Nilima, Manju didi, Sneha, Bhartiji etc came across me through this blog. They have been sisters / mothers of husbands and also case 3 sitas who "recognises" our pain too without generalization and we too know what they have undergone. They also write to me personally or get in touch with my family.
Unfortunately I / we haven't been able to please the supporters of Surpanakhas because of their perpetual stubborn attitude. And I have no regrets for that. They generally land up commenting with disagreement. By the way what has offended you on this gender equality blog?

Most of the times NCW is responsible for breaking the
marriage. When the case goes to NCW, it is for divorce
only ..or in a better retrospect a bargain for the
compensation of women. There should be another breed
of "marriage counsellors" to try and save the
institution of marriage. NCW generaly consists of
"saddist women" whose only moto in life is to provoke
women and her relatives and to aggravate things out of
proportion.
Although personally speaking, the whole
institution of marriage now seems to be a buisness
rather than anything else. My f-i-l who uptil last
year was asking 8.5 lacs has raise his demands to 10
lacs now. hmmmm...may be due to economy boom he thinks
8.5 lacs could have well been appreciated to 10 lacs
within an year ....wishful thinking ...:) isn't it ???
I was deeply shocked to read your story. The moment I
was reading your story, the story of my own brother
started revolving. We had also suffered the same
plight. My whole family including my old parents, my
married sister, one unmarried sister, my brother in
law, my husband,and myself are trapped under this
Gunda Law. I had also the same feeling as yours at
that time. My only brother's wife has made all of ours
life a hell. What has made the matter worse that
whatever girl tells to the police, they agree with her
as if she is Satya ke Devi. They do not bother about
clear lies which can be easily caught. Now, we have
become like bakra and everybody like police, people
sitting in court, advocate are just earning money from
our plight. We have not found any single honest person
who has agreed to fight only for TRUTH. As days and
nights, I am praying for my brother, for early
redressal of his grievances, I will pray for you and
all those brothers who have become victims of this
false dowry charges.
